The Ravens have made a definitive move with RB Jeremy Langford, as they placed him on injured reserve this morning.
We have placed RB Jeremy Langford on IR. We have signed RB John Crockett to the practice squad.

Over the past few weeks, Langford signed to the practice squad, was promoted to the roster, cut, then signed with the practice squad once more. Today ends the shuffling though, as he’ll unfortunately join multiple Ravens on the injured reserve list.
With a spot opening on the practice squad, the Ravens have filled the void with former North Dakota State runningback, John Crockett.
In college, Crockett’s stats are noteworthy.
In 2012 and 2013, Crockett received 190 and 194 attempts, respectively. He produced two 1,000 yard seasons, and scoring 20 touchdowns in the first two years.
In 2014, he blew the doors off with 368 carries. In sixteen games, he racked up 1,994 yards and 21 touchdowns, all rushing. He also produced nearly 400 yards of receiving yards and a touchdown.
Whether it’s only a college star or not, these numbers are worth checking out with a practice squad signing. We’ll see if John can climb up the proverbial ladder, reaching towards actual playing time.
