PFF: Joe Flacco among top QBs in Week 2

Baltimore’s conservative offense has seemed to pay off for their quarterback

NFL: Cleveland Browns at Baltimore Ravens Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Joe Flacco was one of the top performing quarterbacks in Week 2 of the 2017 NFL season, according to Pro Football Focus:

Flacco finished the day with 25 completions for 217 yards and threw for two touchdowns. He also had one interception. With his ability to finish off drives with a touchdown, Flacco played splendidly against the Browns.

Flacco missed the entire preseason with a back injury. In spite of that, he has continued to improve during his two regular season games. In Week 1, he had nine completions for 121 yards, with one touchdown and one interception.

If Baltimore is going to succeed and make it into the postseason, it all begins with Flacco. His health alone can win Baltimore a few extra games. When you pair that with intelligent play and the Ravens elite defense, Flacco will continue to be Baltimore’s go-to man at the quarterback position.
