The Ravens have made two roster moves on Saturday, promoting running back Alex Collins to the 53-man roster and promoting Tony McRae to the 53-man roster. In order to make space for those two, the Ravens placed CB Sheldon Price on IR, and waived RB Jeremy Langford.
We have placed CB Sheldon Price on IR and waived RB Jeremy Langford. We have signed RB Alex Collins & CB Tony McRae from the practice squad.

Collins was signed to the practice squad after he was released from the Seahawks as they cut down their roster to 53 men. Collins will serve as the third string back behind Terrance West on Buck Allen after Danny Woodhead was placed on IR.
To make room for Collins to be the number three back, the Ravens waived Jeremy Langford. Langford was promoted to the Ravens active roster from the practice squad just two days ago, but now finds himself off the team.
The other promotion that the Ravens made was Tony McRae to the 53-man roster. McRae went undrafted in the 2016 NFL draft, and has bounced around to a couple of teams, including the Bengals, before ending up with the Ravens.
To make room for McRae on the roster, Sheldon Price was placed on IR. Price has been dealing with a concussion since the preseason. It kept him out in the preseason finale against the Saints and Week 1 against the Browns. Price was already ruled out for Week 2 against the Browns, but he now finds himself on IR.
