NFL: Preseason-Baltimore Ravens at New Orleans Saints Chuck Cook-USA TODAY Sports

Not a single preseason game played, but there isn’t practice today and I do enjoy talking roster. What follows are my projections for the Baltimore Ravens final 53-man roster, before any preseason contest.

Preface: Here is a list of all injured players, and helping to show I’m not cutting Tavon Young and other stars.

Current Injuries:

Tavon Young — Season ending
Kenneth Dixon — Season ending
Nico Siragusa — Season ending
John Urschel — Retired
Maurice Canady — IR candidate

Offense — 26

QB: 2

Joe Flacco
Ryan Mallett

RB: 3

Terrance West
Danny Woodhead
Javorius Allen — With Dixon out, Buck proves his value at tailback and on special teams. Remember, he’s flashed great games. Against Miami he put up big numbers with Matt Schaub at QB, and he’s blocked a punt with Baltimore

FB: 1

Lorenzo Taliaferro — Gives the Ravens a hybrid back, capable of lead blocking and also a spare tailback. His versatility keeps him on the roster

WR: 6

Jeremy Maclin
Mike Wallace
Breshad Perriman
Michael Campanaro
Quincy Adeboyejo — I think Quincy makes it out of camp and on the final 53.
Tim White — Long shot, especially over Chris Moore, but he’s had a better camp thus far

TE: 4

Nick Boyle
Benjamin Watson
Maxx Williams
Larry Donnell — Special teams value, good depth signing

Tackle: 5

Ronnie Stanley
James Hurst — Current starting right tackle
Austin Howard — Recently signed, battling with Hurst for starting role
Stephane Nembot — Depth player
Jermaine Eluemunor — Depth player/rookie

Guard: 3

Marshal Yanda
Alex Lewis
De’Ondre Wesley

Center: 2

Ryan Jensen
Matt Skura

Defense — 24

DE: 4

Brent Urban
Bronson Kaufusi
Chris Wormley
Patrick Ricard — Great camp thus far. Many expect him to make the final 53.

DT: 3

Brandon Williams
Michael Pierce
Willie Henry

OLB: 4

Terrell Suggs
Matthew Judon
Tyus Bowser
Tim Williams

ILB: 4

C.J. Mosley
Kamalei Correa
Patrick Onwausor — Good depth
Albert McClellan — Special teams monster

CB: 5

Jimmy Smith
Brandon Carr
Marlon Humphrey
Brandon Boykin — A personal choice. I like his play during camp
Jaylen Hill — Talking with many others, they believe he can crack the final 53. I’m not sure, but I can’t find anybody with a better shot.

S: 4

Eric Weddle
Tony Jefferson
Lardarius Webb
Anthony Levine Sr. — Hybrid player, special teams monster

Special Teams — 3

Kicker:

Justin Tucker

Punter:

Sam Koch

Long-snapper:

Morgan Cox

What do you think, fellow Ravens fans? Did I leave somebody off that you believe makes it? Did I keep somebody that you don’t think has a shot?
