An intro where I don’t talk about Owings Mills weather? Get outta here!
It’s a beautiful day for a Ravens training camp practice here in Annapolis, Maryland. The sky is blue, the seats are blue, the wind is light and the flag is waving proudly. It’s Military Appreciation Day!
Practice begins at 6:00 PM, while fireworks are scheduled for 9:00 PM.
Multiple Ravens are needing to produce here during the second stadium practice.
1. Kamalei Correa — Just as the first live practice, KC is the focus on defense. Most Baltimore Ravens starters are surefire in their spots, but Correa needs to continue his streak of growth.
2. Tim White — The UDFA with potiential, and the current beloved underdog. White’s ability as a speed receiver is good, but if he can prove himself as a return man he may edge Michael Campanaro and land on the final 53.
3. Ryan Jensen — Currently marked as the Ravens starting center, but that doesn’t mean he shouldn’t demonstrate his abilities tonight. With live play, it’s finally an opportunity to judge the offensive line. Pay attention to the interior line.
As I mentioned earlier, this is the kind of practice to focus on the the offensive line. Watch the blocking, they’re finally able to play full contact and work with aggression.
