Ravens preseason is complete, but 37 cuts are to come soon

Preseason win/loss records don’t count, but how you play in the season does matter. Though the Ravens finished 4-0, only 53 players stay on the roster, leaving 37 players searching for a job.

Deadline: September 2, 4:00 PM ET

After all cuts are complete, teams can begin claiming players. This lasts until Sunday, September 3, 12:00 PM ET.

Practice Squad:

After the claims end, there is an hour of silence. Once 1:00 PM ET strikes, teams can build their practice squads. Here’s an SB Nation article on how NFL practice squads work.

The cuts will be interesting with the Ravens, after losing so many players to season-ending injuries.
