After a 7-0 Miami lead, the Baltimore Ravens scored unanswered points. Preseason or not, they didn’t let off the pedal.
Not the best day for the young guns.
Marlon Humphrey: N/A
He played, but he certainly didn’t do anything noteworthy. I’m not giving a grade to somebody I need to ask others to see if he played.
Tyus Bowser: N/A
Another rookie who wasn’t noticeable if he played.
Chris Wormley: C
Didn’t play much, and when he did, he was stuck behind the ridiculous depth of the entire defensive line group. He’s not bad, but he’s stuck behind so many players.
Tim Williams: A
A sack and a QB hit. After his tentative start, the Ravens rookie let loose and made a couple plays.
Jermaine Eluemunor: C-
After starting last week, Jermaine was demoted behind Jerrod Pughsley at right guard. Not a good sign. When on the field, he was only playing low ranked players on the Dolphins.
Chuck Clark: D
Similar to Wormley, Clark is stuck behind a superstar cast at safety. He also didn’t produce well. A missed tackle, some bad coverage, they are all under the microscope when all other safeties are stars.
Jaylen Hill: B+
Another good game by Hill. The only reason he isn’t getting an A, he didn’t get another pick. He had a great coverage game and he’s clearly a 53-man player.
Patrick Ricard: B
If you can’t find your way through the depth on the defensive line, go make your move at fullback. That’s what Ricard is doing, battling against Ricky Ortiz and Lorenzo Taliaferro, and doing a decent job.
Taquan Mizzell: B-
Javorius Allen stole the show tonight. After West was thrown in the doghouse, Buck took the rock and literally ran with it.
Ricky Ortiz: C
When they get a defensive lineman to do your job, it’s not looking good.
Donald Payne: A-
Two great hits on special teams, one of them forcing the fumble! Great work by the undrafted linebacker
Quincy Adeboyejo: C-
This is a tough rating. On one hand, he was the WR3 after Wallace and Maclin. That’s a great sign. But his game tonight wasn’t special. His most notable reception was thrown behind him, and he couldn’t outmuscle the bad pass away from Tankersley, who won the battle and received an interception.
