The Ravens will travel to Tennessee for a Week 9 showdown with the Titans!

Titans’ key additions: WR Eric Decker, LB Daren Bates, S Brynden Trawick, S Johnathan Cyprien, LB Nate Palmer, TE Phillip Supernaw, WR Eric Weems, CB Logan Ryan, DT Sylvester Williams, DT Karl Klug

Titans’ key losses: DT Al Woods, G Chance Warmack TE Anthony Fasano, WR Kendall Wright, C Brian Schwenke, CB Antwon Blake, RT Byron Bell, CB Jason McCourty,

Titans’ draft picks: WR Corey Davis, CB Adoree Jackson, TE Jonnu Smith, WR Taywan Taylor, T Brad Seaton, LB Jayon Brown, G Corey Levin, LB Josh Carraway, HB Khalfani Muhammad

Why they'll lose to the Ravens:

If 2016 is any indication of what 2017 will be, then this could be a case of an unstoppable force meeting and immovable object. The Titans built their offense through the running game and the Ravens did relatively well against the run in 2016, finishing fifth overall against it. Factor in a Tennessee defense that finished 24th overall in defensive DVOA and the Ravens offense could roll. If the Ravens can establish a run game and run play action concepts off of that, then the Ravens should squeak into the bye with a win.

Why they'll beat the Ravens:

On offense, the Titans have only improved and Marcus Mariota looks like he can be the best out of the crop of young quarterbacks that have stepped into the league over the past few years. In addition to a strong running game, the Titans brought in two wide receivers in Corey Davis and Eric Decker. If they can help Mariota reach the next level, then this offense has a real chance to be amongst the league’s best in 2017. The Ravens defense is good, but the best counter to a good defense is an offense with balance and a good quarterback, both of which the Titans have.
