Which ‘Game of Thrones’ character best represents the Baltimore Ravens?

You may or may not agree to this

In anticipation of the upcoming new season of Game of Thrones, and being in the depths of the offseason, CBS Sports recently made a list of, “Imagining every team as a ‘Game of Thrones’ character”.

The Baltimore Ravens received Samwell Tarly as their ‘champion’.

“Sam is one of the smartest characters on the show, but he’s also capable of surprising in a fight...”

Completely agree with this, though he is a ‘lame’ idol for the Ravens. They’re the purple & black bad guys in the NFL.

“...like when he killed a White Walker (hello, 2013 AFC Championship) with his dragonglass.”

  1. Dope episode
  2. Great analogy, especially when the White Walkers are the New England Patriots

“John Harbaugh uses his brain to win, like with his everyone-holds safety last year.”

It’s rather surprising to me when this safety is referenced, as opposed to the one which happened in a Super Bowl...

“Also, guard John Urschel, who’s pursuing a Ph.D. in mathematics, might very well be the NFL’s smartest player.”

This pick makes sense, and the Ravens are indeed Samwell Tarly.

More importantly: Football, please come back. We miss you.
