Steve Smith was one of the toughest and most enjoyable players to watch during his NFL career that will result in a place in Canton, Ohio. Five months into retirement, the guy is now one of the more enjoyable NFL analyst to watch on both TV and Twitter.
When new Baltimore Raven free agent acquisition Jeremy Maclin left his visit with the Buffalo Bills and moved on to his next trip to Baltimore, Smith posted this as a message to all Bills fans warning them of what was to come:

Steve Smith would know from experience. After he was cut by the Carolina Panthers, Smith made his way on a visit to the Ravens facility, with an upcoming trip to the New England Patriots next on his free agent list. Baltimore made sure he wouldn't take that trip to Massachusetts, and locked him up to a deal right away. He knew what he was talking about.
Even though he is now retired and was only a Raven for three years, Smith showed that he was a Raven for life by joining players like Tony Jefferson, Eric Weddle, Mike Wallace and others in the recruiting process of Maclin. He posted this on his Twitter page the day of Maclin's visit.

So when Maclin not only signed with the Ravens, but it was revealed by ESPN's Josina Anderson that he was considering the Philadelphia Eagles all along instead of the Bills, Smith decided to take one more jab at the Buffalo faithful. A nice little "I told you so."
Haha .... Told you should have never let him leave the building!!! #agent89 pic.twitter.com/QnK9vqGKgc

He wasn't done.

To top it off, there was this response to Evan Przybylak of The Buffalo News who didn't take Steve's posts too kindly to say the least.

Steve Smith is, and forever always will be, a lifelong savage. Check out Steve's take on the Maclin signing on NFL Network's "Up To The Minute" here.
