Too early? Never

General manager Ozzie Newsome’s 2017 NFL Draft board led to a fully stocked defensive depth chart. On the other side of the ball, the Baltimore Ravens offensive skill personnel currently in place do not inspire great confidence. Fortunately, there is always another draft on the horizon.

Obviously, it is way too early to pinpoint specific player’s draft ranges a full year out, much can and will change. It is safe to say the 2018 draft class has the potential to provide another strong group of first round prospects. The quarterback crop in particular could be fantastic pending early entry decisions. The class should also feature several gifted wide receivers and pass defenders.
