Both John Ross and Mike Williams visiting the Baltimore Ravens today

Baltimore needs a wide receiver, and they’re scouting heavily

With such a need at wide receiver, it’s not surprising to hear the Baltimore Ravens scheduling visits with potential draft selections. Today, both wide receivers John Ross and Mike Williams are scheduled to visit the Ravens brass.

This is Ross’ first visit with an NFL team after his shoulder surgery, around March 13. Before the surgery, Ross visited the Philadelphia Eagles, and now is scheduled with the Ravens and Cleveland Browns.

The Ravens lost Steve Smith Sr. to retirement, and Kamar Aiken signed with the Indianapolis Colts, leaving the wide receiving corps with Mike Wallace, Breshad Perriman and Chris Moore. Another young receiver will help fill the void and bring about a youth movement.

I among many, hope to find Mike Williams at the 16th overall selection for the 2017 NFL Draft, and hope the visit with Baltimore solidifies his skills as a clear favorite for the Ravens pick, if he falls to 16.
