The month of April is a great time of the year. Spring takes full force as the weather gets even more beautiful, baseball season gets underway, and the start of the 2017 NFL season gets closer and closer. Before the NFL Draft in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on April 27th, teams will start their offseason training regimen to get ready for the new year. On Monday, the Baltimore Ravens announced their offseason workout schedule before the beginning of training camp. Below is the schedule, via WNST:
The #Ravens begin their offseason program on 4/17. OTAs take place May 23-25, May 30-June 1, June 5-6, June 8-9. Minicamp runs June 13-15.

The draft takes place from April 27th-April 29th, and Baltimore will hold rookie mini-camp sometime after. With the Ravens being more aggressive in the offseason with both new players and new coaches, these practices, workouts, and time in the classroom will play an even bigger role in helping the team develop and get set for training camp. Things to look for in OTA's and mini-camp will be how the running game improves under Greg Roman and watching how the rest of the offense develops in Marty Mornhinweg's first full season as offensive coordinator. Of course, the secondary will have to develop their chemistry together during this time with general manager Ozzie Newsome focusing on retooling that side of the defense by signing Tony Jefferson, and Brandon Carr last month.
The training camp dates haven’t been announced yet, but should be in the next few months.
