The most prolific wide receiver in college footbal, Western Michigan’s Corey Davis, will travel to Baltimore to meet with the Ravens on Monday and Tuesday accoridng to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

It is unclear if the Ravens will have Davis workout for them while he is in Baltimore, and if he does work out, what types of activities he will do.

Davis has had a nagging ankle injury that kept him out of the Combine and his pro day. Thus, he doesn't have 40 yard dash, or other workout times to compare to other top receivers. Based off of his tape, my guess is that Davis would run in the low 4.4’s.

Wide receiver is one of the Ravens biggest needs in the upcoming draft, and Davis will be one of the team’s top targets in the first round. According to Jamison Hensley of ESPN, the Ravens may have high interest in Davis, but have been using a smokescreen to make it less apparent. The Ravens have already had other receivers like Mike Williams of Clemson and John Ross of Washington in to visit. This may be a move to hide interest in Davis.

Davis is my number one ranked wide receiver as he is the most complete prospect. He is one of the best route runners coming out of college in recent memory, and he also excels after the catch. Drafting Davis would be a perfect pick for the Ravens as the Western Michigan product will immediately step in as the number one receiver, and provide a huge impact from the minute he steps onto the field.
