Kevin King, a projected first or second round cornerback prospect from the University of Washington, will meet with the Ravens this week according to Fox Sports’ Charles Davis.
Lots of travel for @UWAthletics CB Kevin King - told he will visit @Eagles @RAIDERS @Browns @Ravens this week...also has invite to the draft

Even with the signing of Brandon Carr, the Ravens are still going to be looking to draft a cornerback early in this year’s draft to groom as a long term starter.
King is an intriguing prospect because of his size. The Washington product stands at 6’3”. He has shown on tape an ability to use his size to his advantage, virtually boxing out receivers from the ball. In addition, King excelled in college at forcing pass catchers off of their orginal routes.
Following the injury to fellow Washington cornerback Sidney Jones, King’s stock has skyrocketed, and now he has even earned himself a draft invite accoridng to Davis. In addition to strong play on tape, King put up solid workout numbers, highlighted by a 4.43 time in the 40 yard dash at the Combine.
King has been mocked as high as the late first round, but he has a chance to be on the board for the Ravens second round selection. If King is there, it will be hard for the Ravens to pass him up, especially if he impresses at his meeting this week.
