With the Baltimore Ravens top three free agents now off the board (a fourth is still on the open market in the form of Kamar Aiken), the Ravens will try to bring back the less coveted free agents. Guys that are not necessarily big impact players, but do provide solid depth and stability to the team. Anthony Levine Sr. is exactly the the role player we’re talking about.
Ravens reached an agreement with DB-LB Anthony Levine. He is one of Baltimore's top special teams players.... https://t.co/nVXn9fTThV

While Levine doesn’t get much playing time on defense, although some would argue he probably should, he is a guy who can step in on defense and play a little inside linebacker and defensive back, both at the safety and cornerback positions. Ozzie Newsome always strives on having good depth at each position. Of course, Levine's true value comes on special teams and he has become one of the captains on the unit.
Newsome said at Friday's press conference that the team was not done adding free agents, especially in the wake of the Lardarius Webb release; Levine's immediate re-signing proves Oz was serious. The team still has holes to fill and there are options available in free agency. Stay tuned, because Ozzie might sign someone at 1 AM at the rate he's going.
