Well this would certainly feel odd. According to reports, the Ravens are one of two teams interested in claiming Steelers all-time sack leader James Harrison.

Harrison has been a thorn in the Ravens side for years. It would certainly feel weird to see him in purple. That said, he would be a very welcome addition in Baltimore, especially after how much the pass rush struggled yesterday against the Colts. You can never have to many pass rushers. Adding Harrison would cause an interesting roster situation, as the Ravens would have to find a spot on the active roster for Harrison.

Harrison actually spent time with the Ravens early in his career, before being cut and landing in Pittsburgh.

The other suitor for Harrison comes as no surprise, the Patriots. New England has a tendency to land a veteran off of waivers late in the year, and they clearly have high interest in Harrison, he would be a great fit in New England as well.

Either landing spot would feel weird, as the Patriots and Ravens are both big rivals of the Steelers. A great way to stick it to them would be landing one of the all-time greats in that franchise’s history.

In all seriousness, adding Harrison would bring great experience, and a great player, to the Ravens defense, but it would create a tight roster situation.
