The Pittsburgh Steelers managed to beat the Baltimore Ravens in another way, as yesterday it was announced kicker Chris Boswell earned Pro Bowl honors for 2018. Apparently being the best kicker in NFL history isn’t enough.
Justin Tucker is the first alternate for the Pro Bowl, which is a nice consolation slap in the face. Tucker won AFC Special Teams Player of the month in November, but more importantly, as mentioned previously, Justin Tucker is the most accurate kicker in NFL history. In his career Tucker has hit 197 of 219 field goal attempts, earning a 90.0% accuracy. The best kicker in history.
If Tucker lands in the Pro Bowl, this means it is due to Boswell and the Pittsburgh Steelers heading to the Super Bowl, AKA every Ravens fans nightmare. Instead, let’s hope Tucker cannot be in attendance and is instead, kicking through the uprights in Minnesota come February.
