NFL: Detroit Lions at Baltimore Ravens Evan Habeeb-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL and NBC decided to leave this game in primetime, rather than flex it for the Los Angeles Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles; now it’s time for the Steelers and Ravens to demonstrate the purpose behind the decision.

Yet another chapter in the greatest rivalry in the NFL is written tonight. Big Ben Roethlisberger and his outstanding offense will face off against the best defense in the league, in many aspects. Both squads are missing key players, as the Ravens star corner Jimmy Smith suffered a torn Achilles only a week ago. On the other side of the field, Ryan Shazier underwent spinal surgery after a head-down tackle against the Bengals. Hopefully he heals well and is going to be okay.

The Steelers also lost JuJu Smith-Schuster for this game, after a suspension following a hit against Vontaze Burfict.
