Jeremy Maclin expected to play against Steelers

NFL: Detroit Lions at Baltimore Ravens Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

According to a report by ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Ravens wide reciver Jeremy Maclin is expected to play against the Steelers on Sunday night.

Maclin was a limited participant in practice on Wednesday, and did not practice at all on Thursday. Maclin was a full participant in Friday’s practice, but was still listed as questionable.

The news that Maclin is expected to play is certainly good for a Ravens offense that will need all the weapons it can possible get against the Steelers. The Ravens offense has struggled all year, but against a well rounded Steelers team, it’s a unit that must step up. Maclin, despite not having much production last week, will play a key role if the Ravens plan on winning at Heinz Field on Sunday night. His presence in the lineup could go a long way for Joe Flacco, especially against this banged up Steelers defense, a group that will be missing Joe Haden and Ryan Shazier.
