NFL: Denver Broncos at Philadelphia Eagles Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

The 2017 NFL season has been one of the most unpredictable in recent memory. Nearly every team has been forced to deal with crushing injuries. The true contenders have displayed their ability to overcome these injuries while the pretenders have shown the opposite.

Now slightly more than halfway through the regular season, the cream is finally starting to rise to the top. The best teams in the AFC are separating themselves from the pack. The NFC is shaping up to be an epic dogfight until the end.

In a battle between the NFC’s best defenses, home field advantage carries the Vikings.

(5) Titans @ (4) Chiefs

Tennessee’s smash mouth rushing attack takes advantage of the Chiefs porous run defense.

Postseason experience allows Seattle to overcome the young Rams.

Divisional

(5) Titans @ (1) Steelers

Pittsburgh’s speed is too much for the Titans to handle.

(4) Seahawks @ (1) Eagles

The Eagles win the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball.

Philadelphia’s depth and versatility provide the winning edge.
