Sam Koch ignites Ravens offense in first half

I give you the entire Ravens roster, and ask for you to pick any player to change the momentum on the offense: who do you pick? How many selections until you pick Punter Sam Koch?

Well, that’s who changed the game for the Baltimore Ravens tonight, against the Houston Texans.

After another ugly offensive start for the home team, the punt unit returned to the field, but Koch wasn’t booting it away. Instead, the pro bowl punter floated a pass to Chris Moore. What happened next was a flourishing offense, scoring two touchdowns on two drives.

A couple of passes and three big runs by Javorius Allen and Alex Collins helped push the Ravens towards a 14-7 lead, halfway through the second quarter.
