The Baltimore Ravens are currently listed as three and a half point underdogs for their Week 9 trip to Nashville. The point total is set at 43. Baltimore leads the all time series between these franchises 11-10, including a 21-7 victory in the most recent meeting on November 9th 2014.

Both teams will be well rested for Sunday’s tilt, as the Titans are coming off their bye week and the Ravens last played on Thursday night. Tennessee sits at 4-3 on the season, tied for first in the AFC South, after consecutive wins over the Colts and Browns. Baltimore is 4-4, two games behind Pittsburgh, following their shutout win against the Dolphins.

The Ravens 30th ranked run defense will be tasked with stopping the Titans 8th ranked rushing attack, led by power backs DeMarco Murray, Derrick Henry and mobile quarterback Marcus Mariota. On the other side of the ball, the Ravens will challenge Tennessee’s 19th ranked pass defense with Jeremy Maclin and a receiving corps that is slowly getting healthy.

As for gambling trends, the Titans are 1-5 as medium sized favorites and 8-21 versus AFC opponents against the spread since 2015. The Ravens are 3-5 against the spread as a medium sized road underdog and 0-2 versus the AFC South over the same span. Nine of 15 combined games involving these teams have gone over the point total this season.

In other notable matchups this week, Buffalo is favored by a field goal at the Jets on Thursday night. The Jaguars are five point home favorites against the Bengals, the Texans are 12.5 point home favorites against the Colts and the Chiefs trip to Dallas is listed as a pick ‘em game. New England, Pittsburgh, Cleveland and the Chargers are on their bye in Week 9.
