Which Ravens receive your vote a quarter way through the season?

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

The NFL regular season is a quarter way through, and the Baltimore Beatdown staff sat down and discussed who receives awards, strictly on the team.

Note: These awards are for what the team has done thus far. They are subject to change with 12 weeks left of football.

MVP:

Brandon Williams 4
Terrell Suggs 1
Jimmy Smith 1
Ryan Jensen 1
Abstain - 1

The last two weeks have demonstrated the Ravens lack of push on the line with their stalwart trenchman out. Hopefully he returns soon, and the Ravens can get back to form.

Offensive Player of the Year:

Jeremy Maclin - 3
Ben Watson - 1
Ryan Jensen - 1
Alex Collins - 1
Ronnie Stanley - 1

The wideout has done the most damage on the scoreboard, and it’s fitting he’s received the most votes.

Defensive Player of the Year:

Jimmy Smith - 3
Eric Weddle - 3
Patrick Onwausor - 1
Terrell Suggs - 1

A tied vote here, but it’s clear this defense is the reason for any success this season.

Offensive Rookie of the Year:

Abstain - 4
Jermaine Eluemunor - 3
Patrick Ricard - 1

Due to injuries and zero offensive draft weapons, the vote has ended with giving it to nobody.

Defensive Rookie of the Year:

Tyus Bowser - 5
Marlon Humphrey - 3

Two great players on defense for Baltimore, but the sack and interception from week 2 wins the linebacker the crown. Marlon has been excellent in limited roles, but after he was beat twice by Martavis Bryant, I think it dropped him a vote or two.

Comeback Player of the Year:

Ben Watson - 6
Terrell Suggs - 1
Abstain - 1

Unsurprisingly, Ben Watson receives the vote for CPotY. After suffering a torn Achilles, the tight end has helped produce results for the Ravens blocking and catching. Expect to see more of him this season.

Biggest question mark:

Joe Flacco - 4
Breshad Perriman - 2
Tony Jefferson - 1
Austin Howard - 1

A quarter way through the season, and the biggest question mark on the team is their own quarterback. It’s frustrating to not feel confident in your quarterback, hopefully this changes in the weeks to come.

Play of the year:

Jeremy Maclin 48-yard Touchdown - 4
Tyus Bowser’s first NFL interception - 1
Jeremy Maclin Red-zone touchdown - 1
Lardarius Webb redzone interception - 1
Tim Williams beats Joe Thomas for the sack - 1

The Maclin touchdown breathed life into Ravens fans. Suddenly we found wide out we’re allowed to throw to wide receivers. The past few weeks have felt differently, or back to normal, but maybe Maclin turns it back on and Joe delivers him the football.
