Flacco was placed in concussion protocol after the controversial hit from Kiko Alonso, and he would not return to the game. Obviously, fear arose regarding whether Flacco would be able to play in Week 9 against the Titans.
Fortunately, Flacco reportedly no longer has concussion symptoms, and the Ravens think he will be able to play. In addition, Harbaugh said that he isn’t worried about practice time for Flacco, and he isn’t worried about resting the team’s starting quarterback. Harbaugh said that if Flacco is ready, then he will play.

While Flacco has struggled during the course of this season, this is a huge positive for the Ravens. No matter how poor Flacco has looked at times this year, he is still a much better option than Ryan Mallett. Flacco was actually playing his best game of the season against Miami on Thursday before leaving the contest. Having him back in the lineup will give the Ravens a chance to beat Tennessee in Week 9.
