The Baltimore Ravens are currently listed as 5.5 point underdogs at Minnesota in Week 7. The point total is set at 39.5, representing a final score of approximately 23-17 Vikings.

The Vikings are tied for first place in the NFC North with a 4-2 record following their win over the Packers last week. Their defense is ranked fifth in both yards and points allowed per game. They have also overcome injuries to starting quarterback Sam Bradford and starting tailback Dalvin Cook to post the tenth best offense in the NFL thus far.

Most of the trends favor the home team. Against the spread over the last three seasons, Minnesota is 15-8 as a favorite and 16-5 at home. The Ravens are 2-8 in October and 1-7 versus NFC opponents against the spread over the same period. However, the Ravens hold a 3-2 lead in the all-time series between the franchises and won the most recent meeting 29-26 in 2013.

Other notable games on the Week 7 slate include the Chiefs favored by a field goal in Oakland on Thursday night, Tennessee laying six in Cleveland, Jacksonville laying three in Indianapolis and the Chargers as one point home favorites over Denver. New England is a 3.5 point home favorite against the Falcons in a Super Bowl rematch on Sunday night. And the Steelers are 5.5 point home favorites against the Bengals.
