The Baltimore Ravens made a roster move today, as they picked up a linebacker at the expense of cutting a different linebacker.
Ravens announce that they've released ILB Jonathan Freeny and signed ILB Steven Johnson

Steven Johnson, a former Steeler, Titan and Bronco, is a six-year NFL veteran. He’s played in 64 games, starting seven with Denver, whom originally drafted the linebacker in the sixth-round of the 2012 NFL draft.
This isn’t an ‘over-the-top’ signing, but it hopefully brings about an inside linebacker which can cover tight ends. This season has featured multiple tight ends beating the Ravens over the middle and in coverage, including the Jacksonville Jaguars scoring three touchdowns with their TE Marcedes Lewis.
