In the offseason of 2016 Justin Tucker dropped an ultimatum against the Baltimore Ravens, it went along the lines of, ‘sign me this year or I won’t be playing for the Ravens next season’. Ozzie and the front office did sign him. We knew why when it happened, he’s a fantastic kicker, but Justin followed it up with an outstanding 2016 season.

The AP All-Pro team has been released, and Tucker is one of two players voted unanimous in their position, the other, Punt Returner Tyreek Hill.

“The Associated Press 2016 NFL All-Pro team selected by a national panel of 50 media members:”

Fifty votes up and fifty votes down for Justin Tucker. The reason there is not a Second Team All-Pro placekicker, every single vote went Tucker’s way. If even one voter said another players name, that one vote would have given the second name to the Second Team. Doesn’t matter though, as Justin earned every single vote.

Ravens fans have preached it for seasons, Justin Tucker is the best kicker in the NFL.
