The Baltimore Ravens have released its inactive’s for today’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars and the list has not changed the last two weeks.
INACTIVES:
— Baltimore Ravens (@Ravens) September 25, 2016
CB Jerraud Powers
RB Kenneth Dixon
CB Will Davis
RB Javorius Allen
OLB Elvis Dumervil
G/C John Urschel
DT Willie Henry
Many were hoping that Ravens outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil would be able to play this week but he remains out as he continues to deal with a foot injury. Dumervil’s presence would have been nice especially against Jaguars quarterback Blake Bortles who has two pretty good young wide receivers in Allen Robinson and Allen Hurns. The Ravens number one ranked pass defense will have to go on without Dumervil.
For the third week in a row, the Ravens will go with only two running backs as Justin Forsett and Terrance West will get the boatload of the carries against a Jaguars defense that ranks 26th against the run allowing 122.5 yards a game.
In terms of the active players, it looks like Ravens center Jeremy Zuttah will continue to start as questions were raised after Ravens head coach John Harbaugh added a cryptic response to Zuttah’s status on the team on Friday. Zuttah has struggled to begin the season as he is rated as the worst offensive lineman on the Ravens roster according to ProFootballFocus.
