Elvis Dumervil has returned to the practice field after sitting out the first two games of the 2016 season while recovering from offseason foot surgery. "Doom" practiced in a limited capacity on Wednesday and Thursday. His availability for Sunday’s tilt is questionable. Dumervil’s presence at strong-side outside linebacker would surely boost the Ravens pass rush.
The Ravens offensive line is on track to be at full strength. Rookie left tackle Roonie Stanley returned to take his normal allotment of repetitions at Thursday’s practice. He missed Wednesday’s session due to a foot ailment. John Urschel, an interior offensive lineman, practiced in full at both practices this week. He should be in football shape at this point of his rehabilitation from a shoulder injury sustained in training camp.
The Jacksonville Jaguars possess a much more extensive injury report. Starting offensive tackle Kelvin Beachum has not been able to practice this week after incurring a concussion that required hospitalization. Cornerback Prince Amukamara, another prized free agent acquisition, has not be able to practice after missing Week 2 with a pulled hamstring. Defensive end Jared Odrick has also been unable to practice this week due to a left triceps injury. The absence of these players will be felt if they cannot suit up on Sunday.
While star receiver Allen Robinson, safety Johnathan Cyprien and offensive tackle Jeremy Parnell were able to practice in full on Thursday, starting center Brandon Linder and corner Davon House were new addition to the injury report. Neither was able to participate, Linder with a knee issue and House with a hamstring. Running back Chris Ivory is expected to make his debut for the Jags against the Ravens after returning from an undisclosed illness.
