Dennis Pitta is back

Two weeks. That’s all it took for tight end Dennis Pitta to remind the NFL he can’t be a footnote in the film room.

Pitta posted his second best yardage ever, with 102 yards on nine catches. In fact, this is the second time he’s eclipsed 100 yards, the first time since 2012.

It’s obvious Dennis isn’t going to coast by. Within two weeks he’s posting personal high numbers comparatively. Instead, Pitta will deliver big time catches he has been known for. In fact, defenses will be noticeably struggling against the Ravens passing offense. Dennis Pitta a factor across the middle, with Mike Wallace being a threat anywhere on the field and the Ravens also working in Steve Smith. Don’t forget the Ravens trying to get reps for Breshad Perriman. I can continue down the line with the shockingly deep skill position players on the Ravens roster, but my point has been proven. Spreading all these weapons out on the field is a concoction for touchdowns, and the Ravens now can offensively dictate a game through the air.
