Za’Darius Smith to play against Browns

Many players are on the inactive’s list today as released by the Ravens almost an hour ago, but one name is surprisingly not on the list, Za’darius Smith.

The outside linebacker has not practiced all week, hampered by an ankle injury. The Ravens definitely need him on the field as their another pass-rush specialist Elvis Dumervil is not playing today. While Smith may not be 100%, his presence on the field is quite noticeable, and the Browns cannot sleep on him.

Expect the Ravens to use rookie edge talent Matt Judon in many packages with Za’Darius receiving limited reps. The Ravens know to not reagitate an injury, expect Za to hit the field on most third down packages.
