While Ravens fans know Ray Rice is gone from Baltimore football, Adam Schefter is speaking of his return to the NFL.
A growing sense that Ray Rice, who last played a game Dec. 29, 2013, might get chance to play in NFL again this season, per league sources.

It’s been almost three seasons as Schefter mentioned, and he’ll be thirty years old come January. No doubt he doesn’t have football wear-and-tear, but no practice or gametime in three seasons leaves me doubtful for his chances at playing.
The odds are it’s nothing, but for teams desperate for a good tailback they have to be mulling it over.
Obviously, the bigger question comes down to the headache it causes in the media spotlight. NFL fans and all media will be talking of his past and that could be enough to shy away from the 3x Pro Bowl runningback.
