Just prior to the final preseason game for the Dallas Cowboys the franchise has signed former Ravens QB Jerrod Johnson.
Johnson was just recently cut from Baltimore, in fact less than a week ago.
Jerrod was not a very talented QB with the Ravens, as many times he was swatted away and even intercepted, but at this point Dallas must be trying to find somebody worth the back-up or QB3 role with the injured Tony Romo.
The former Texas A&M quarterback has played all over the NFL: Philadelphia Eagles, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, Baltimore Ravens. Also noteworthy, Jerrod played in two other football leagues. In the Arena Football League with the Arizona Rattlers, and the no longer in existence United Football League, with the Sacramento Mountain Lions.
Jerrod’s last game with the Ravens was this preseason, and surely not exciting. In fact, after only a handful of snaps they pulled him from the contest and gave more snaps to Josh Johnson. Hopefully for his sake, his stint with the ‘Boys is something different.
