The Ravens are not the only team that the injury bug is feasting on, the Bills have also been struggling to keep key guys on the field. Sammy Watkins, Kyle Willaims, Karlos Williams, Shaq Lawson and Marcell Dareus are examples of major cogs in the Bills lineup facing injuries. The Bills added yet another key piece to that list on Sunday night.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports Bills second round pick Reggie Ragland suffered a partially torn ACL according to his initial MRI. Ragland is listed as doubtful for the Bills first preseason game on Saturday night versus the Colts.

Lawson and Ragland were the Bills first two picks respectively, and both were figured to be starters, with Lawson boosting the pass rush, and Ragland solidifing the middle of the field.

Ragland was one of the stars of Alabama’s National Champion defense. He was a tackling machine, totaling 102 tackles in his senior season. He also tacked on two fumbles.

The Bills will have a competition between Zach Brown, Brandon Spikes, and undrafted rookie Eric Striker to fill Ragland’s place.
