It's that time of year again. With the football season gearing up, the new Madden is also just around the corner. The top-selling NFL game releases in just a few weeks on August 23rd, and the folks at EA Sports have dropped the player ratings for the new game.

The Ravens look like a pretty good and well-rounded team if the Madden rankings are to be believed. The team has solid depth, and a lot of contributors with ratings in the mid-70's to 80's. Leading the virtual team is offensive guard Marshall Yanda, who has a 97 overall. Yanda was one of a few NFL players to get the esteemed 99 overall rating last year. New addition Eric Weddle is second on the team with a 92 overall.

Veteran players Terrell Suggs (90), Steve Smith Sr. (89), and Elvis Dumervil (87), round out the top five. Baltimore also has one of the top-rated kickers in the league with Justin Tucker, who has an 83 overall, good for third-best in the league. The Ravens' top rookie Ronnie Stanley, came in with a respectable 79 overall rating.
