Baltimore Beatdown’s Postgame day after forum 8/28

Since my time as Manager began one of my goals running Baltimore Beatdown was to build the community. The comment section is a big part of not only Baltimore Beatdown, but SBNation sites as a whole. As we have gamethreads, we also could have day after threads. The day after each game everybody has an open forum to discuss the events of yesterday. I feel this helps in two ways.

  1. To help to cool off the knee-jerk reactions. After a good display or bad game, the day after thread can help to take off the purple-tinted shades and come to terms with reality as opposed to the bias.
  2. To help welcome new Ravens fans. Don’t get me wrong, I can name many users that comment with great ideas and opinions but the lame saying, ‘the more the merrier’ is still true. New fans can receive info from a community that welcomes users rather than opposes the greenhorns.

This isn’t limited to the game only. If you want to discuss anything football related go right ahead. I’ll be sticking around here to answer questions and help create conversation. From X’s and O’s to the basic complaints about Shareece Wright the past few games.
