The Baltimore Ravens tight end depth just took a massive hit.
On the first play of the game TE Benjamin Watson ran a route and without any contact fell to the turf. The report isn’t good.
TE Benjamin Watson has torn his Achilles.

A heartbreaking injury for the veteran tight end, as he was expected to receive big playing time in Baltimore. Ben has helped provide depth with the recent injuries to Maxx Williams, Dennis Pitta and Crockett Gillmore.
Benjamin Watson signed with the Ravens this year with a 2 year/$7 Million contract. Of that, $3 million was guaranteed.
If there is any good news to take away, the Ravens tight end depth is tops in the league. Hopefully week one Dennis Pitta and Maxx Williams can come back and perform to help lessen the blow of this injury.
