A lot of us try incredibly hard to lose weight. Dieting and exercise are both noble avenues towards weight loss, and so are supplements. But for Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Breshad Perriman, all he needed was a haircut to drop the pounds.
The receiver made the decision to cut his signature locks last month, and it reflected not only on his head, but on the scales too.
"I feel much lighter," Perriman said. "Once I cut it, I weighed myself, and I lost three or four pounds. It was crazy."
No one really knows why Perriman decided to part with his dreadlocks, which went hung below his shoulders at their prime, but if it's anything like the last time a Raven receiver cut their dreads, fans should be pretty happy. Torrey Smith did extremely well after reverting to a shorter hairstyle before the 2013 season, a career year in which he caught 65 passes for 1,128 yards and four touchdowns.

The new 'do might make the speedster ever so faster on the field, but it does have one inconvenient drawback.
Perriman's one complaint?
"It just gets cold sometimes," he said with a smile.
