Today apparently has equated to ranking Baltimore average on all fronts. Earlier the rookie class was ranked ‘C’ by B/R. Now they are the line which balances glass half empty or full as a team with a recent ranking slotting Baltimore as the sixteenth team in the NFL. They are ranked third in the AFC North, and ninth in the AFC.
It’s not impossible for the Ravens to miss the playoffs once again, but we all remember how dismembered the Ravens were last year and still fighting to the clocks end each game. In my mind, it comes down to the bill of health.
Clearly the Ravens have the tools for a successful franchise. A good quarterback, multiple skill players at each position: TE, WR, RB. The defense has recognizable-named pass rushers and the secondary is getting worked on with free agents and rookies. A recipe for success.
Taking a look in the past, the Ravens played in 12 one score games last season. Remember they did this with key players absent. If they can close the gap with these players back no doubt the Ravens can become playoff contenders once more.
Though the Ravens being .500 next season is possible, BaltimoreBeatdown finds it highly unlikely. (shocking I know.)
