The Baltimore Ravens biggest NFL rival lost their prized tight end Heath Miller to retirement this offseason. They replaced him with up and comer Ladarius Green, a great player with high expectations. Problem is, he is considering retirement, reports Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk.
"Green dealing with lingering headaches have been circulating since training camp opened."
The Pittsburgh Steelers have not commented on the subject, though he is still on their PUP list.
Florio also sites, "earlier today (Thursday) the same source told PFT that there’s new speculation that the Steelers may eventually cut Green." Another comment from his source, "if the headaches don’t resolve, retirement remains an option."
Green has been out on the field running routes and catching passes, but if these issues continue the Steelers could find themselves without a starting tight end, running back, and short a wide receiver for four weeks.
