Buffalo Bills sign RB Reggie Bush

NFL: Preseason-San Francisco 49ers at Denver Broncos Chris Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

With Karlos Williams being ready to serve a four game suspension and teammate running back Jonathan Williams possibly receiving a suspension of his own for a DWI, the Buffalo Bills sign running back Reggie Bush to a one-year contract.

This is important news for the Baltimore Ravens as the team is scheduled to face the Bills in week 1 of the 2016 regular season. Bush has been known throughout his career for his athleticism which has given a lot of opposing defenses trouble in open space.

Bush also has enough experience in the league to compliment Bills starting running back LeSean McCoy as a backup. Not to mention, Bush also has a history of being a threat on special teams.

Bush, 31, who is the second overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, has a career total of 5,493 rushing yards, 35 rushing touchdowns to go along with 3,508 receiving yards 18 touchdown receptions.

However, it remains to be seen as to how much Bush has left in the tank as he suffered a season-ending MCL tear in 2015. If he can stay healthy and regain his speed in week 1, the Ravens have three legit rushing threats when facing the Bills with the combination of Bush, McCoy and quarterback Tyrod Taylor.
