Though it is only day three of the Baltimore Ravens 2016 campaign, they are missing multiple components.
Crockett Gillmore was not present during the first padded practice. Not good after he left practice yesterday, and news broke he needed an MRI on the hamstring. No update was given on his status this afternoon.
Kenneth Dixon - After a shove along the sideline Kenneth Dixon was helped off the field by teammate Justin Forsett. News yesterday said a Grade 1 MCL strain. Clearly nothing terrible, but the same scenario last season caused Breshad Perriman to not play. Rookie makes catch along the sideline, then disappears an entire season. Fans are nervous, but my personal belief is not to push him on a less than 100% knee when they’re keeping him this season anyways.
Timmy Jernigan - The hardest working man on the field these past few days had to leave practice early and not return. I did not catch the reason why, but Jamison Hensley reports rib area strain. Nothing serious.
Chris Moore - No injury to report here, but instead have heard rumor he received the day off for his stellar performance in practice yesterday!
Other players not present include the PUP listers:
- Steve Smith Sr.
- Breshad Perriman
- Terrell Suggs
- Elvis Dumervil
- Lorenzo Taliaferro
- Trent Richardson
