Ravens training camp: TE Coach Richard Angulo Highlights

NFL: Baltimore Ravens-Minicamp Tommy Gilligan-USA TODAY Sports

Another coach took to the podium this afternoon in the form of tight end coach Richard Angulo. P.S. He’s massive.

Questions were obviously over his position players specifically.

He gave his thoughtson Dennis Pitta.

“He looks great — looks great feels great. I’m happy for him, proud of him.”

Immediately after Angulo informed everybody he is a full-go, after a question about padded practice tomorrow.

Though he is an intimidating figure, he does have jokes. A question wanted to know how many tight ends the Ravens could have on the field at one time.

“Well, if it was up to me, it would be the quarterback and all tight ends,” Angulo said through his grin and chuckles. “You can get up to three. We have a giant package.”

The best answer came from a question regarding what Crockett Gillmore can improve on.

“He’s just got to improve on everything, really — execution of the small things,” Richard said. “Really, for him and all the other guys, I just want them to be great at all the little things. To me, stats and touchdowns are just byproducts of what you do with all the details, so that is what I’m looking for.”
