The Baltimore Ravens have officially released the list of players who are physically unable to perform heading into training camp.
The PUP list is a designation for players who are physically unable to perform during practices due to football related injuries, but are allowed to take advantage of team facilities and attend meetings. Six players are on the Ravens PUP list, and several notable names can be found on it.
- Terrell Suggs OLB
- Elvis Dumervil OLB
- Steve Smith Sr. WR
- Breshad Perriman WR
- Jumal Rolle CB
- Trent Richardson RB
Very few surprises here, but certainly not good news for Rolle and Richardson, who will have to battle to make the team’s final roster.
A notable omission is quarterback Joe Flacco, who recently stated that he plans to participate in upcoming team practices. A few days ago, wide receiver Kamar Aiken noted that Flacco looked to be back to his regular self, and his avoidance of the PUP list heading into camp all but confirms that.
