NFL Network talks Chris Canty: Ravens are a play-off team if healthy

"We had a section in the locker room where every player got injured, and was put on IR in accordance to where their locker was in a row," Spoke Chris Canty on NFL Network.

Later on, the now suit and tie wearing Chris Canty discussed whether or not the team, if healthy, could make a post-season berth.

"Listen, they could be a play-off team again if their young guys step up."

He's absolutely right, and names off Timmy Jernigan, Brandon Williams, C.J. Mosley, and finally Terrence Brooks. Finishing off the discussion, Canty replies, "Get that Ravens defense back to what we're accustomed to seeing,"

Baltimore lost 20 players to the injured reserve. Other teams seem to forget we lost:

1. Starting QB - Joe Flacco
2. Starting RB - Justin Forsett
3. Starting OLB - Terrell Suggs
4. Starting LT - Eugene Monroe
5. Back-up RB - Lorenzo Taliaferro
6. Starting WR - Steve Smith Sr.
7. First Round Pick Receiver - Breshad Perriman

That's not even HALF of the IR list! But let them continue to forget the Ravens exist, because Baltimore will surely be bringing the heat next season, and nothing feels sweeter than an underdog Ravens team in the NFL.
