Ravens are going to be aggressive in adding a pass rusher

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Priority number one for the Baltimore Ravens literally is adding a pass rusher in either Joey Bosa, Shaq Lawson or Leonard Floyd according to ESPN.com's Jamison Hensley. So after all of the mocks drafts that have had the Ravens taking left tackles in Laremy Tunsil and Ronnie Stanley, the Ravens are going to be aggressive in addressing a defense that contributed to the Ravens allowing 25.1 points a game during the 2015 season.

If the Ravens certainly go the route of adding a player to help the Ravens pass defense, I certainly support it. The Ravens defense isn't what it used to be and the Ravens will not go very far in terms of having any postseason hopes if its defense does not play to the level that is required in the Ravens rich history of devastating defenses.

Two interesting notes in this report is the fact that the Ravens are looking at Shaq Lawson or Leonard Floyd. The Ravens haven't been picked in the vast majority of mock drafts to select Lawson or Flyod with the No.6 overall pick. Lawson and Floyd have been selected to go as early as number nine to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at No.9 overall.

The reason why the Ravens interest in Lawson and Floyd is because it could be an indicator that the Ravens will trade back a couple of spots and still get the guy the organization wants assuming Bosa is picked in the top five.
