Baltimore's 2016 season is supposed to start out with a win over the Buffalo Bills at home. This is according to Las Vegas-based Westgate SuperBook, one of the most prominent oddsmakers.
Vegas has the Ravens coming out on top as three-point favorites. The spread is currently set at 43.5 points. If history holds true, the Ravens have a good chance of winning this one, as Baltimore is 4-1 in home season openers under Coach John Harbaugh. Buffalo, on the other hand, is 2-3 on the road in season openers since 2006, and had road woes of their own last year when they dropped five of their last six games away from Buffalo.
It will certainly be an interesting contest, as Buffalo will be led by ex-Raven Tyrod Taylor at quarterback. The Bills also have some dynamic offensive weapons that will test the Ravens' newly-improved defense.
Elsewhere in the division, the Bengals are a pick 'em visiting the New York Jets; the Browns are 7.5-point underdogs against the Philadelphia Eagles on the road; and the Steelers are favored by 2.5 points in Washington against the Redskins.
