Quarterback Paxton Lynch has heard his name enter the top 10 conversations in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft. With quarterbacks in Jared Goff and Carson Wentz expected to go 1-2 (In no order) in the first round, Lynch is looking like the next hot commodity for other QB-needy teams around the league according to NFL.com.
There is speculation via Yahoo.com that the San Francisco 49ers at no.7, Cleveland Browns at no.8 and even the New York Jets at no.20 could fight each other to draft Lynch. If that is indeed the case, all three teams could be in serious conversations with the Baltimore Ravens which currently holds the no.6 overall pick. The Ravens come into play as the 49ers, Browns and Jets could possibly be in the interest of leap-frogging each other to the Ravens no.6 pick.
Lynch has suddenly become the next best quarterback available even though there are questions about how ready he will be start an NFL game as he has been deemed as a project. Lynch really hasn't had the experience to handle an NFL pro-style offense but his upside is what is keeping teams interested apparently.
