Breshad Perriman, 2015 First Round WR pick of the Ravens, is back up to speed.
Full speed.
He was running at the voluntary offseason conditioning program Monday at the Ravens Headquarters, according to Baltimore Ravens.com Editor/Reporter Sarah Ellison:
This sight is a cathartic, welcome one for thousands of Ravens fans. Perriman does not show signs of limping in this particular clip; in fact, he is beating some of the teammates to his side.
Doctors are keeping a close eye on his knee, but take it from someone who personally tore his own ACL from playing football years ago: no way would he running like that if there was pain or significant weakness. The knee would be more like a limp rag-doll.
Also in good news is Dennis Pitta's workout on Monday. Ellison posted a clip of him as well:
Pitta recently restructured his contract in order to be able to make a comeback attempt this offseason. Here, he looks strong and agile. Another great scene for pent-up Ravens fans hoping for the best for the TE.
It's early in the cycle, but these are extremely good signs for the Ravens, considering the alternative. Baltimore Beatdown will continue to cover these workouts and keep you updated with the latest.
